Ashley Sweeney

A native New Yorker, Ashley E. Sweeney is the award-winning author of four novels: The Irish Girl, Hardland, Answer Creek, and Eliza Waite. Over the past ten years, she has won 20 literary awards, including the Nancy Pearl Book Award, the WILLA Literary Award for Historical Fiction, the New Mexico-Arizona Book Award, the Independent Press Award, and the Independent Book Publishers Award. When she is not writing, Sweeney enjoys travel, gardening, art quilting, mosaics, and reading. She lives on an island near Seattle, Washington and spends winters in Tucson, Arizona.
